MAVEN HAUS FASION SHOW

To say that Elaera Maven, designer of Maven Haus Designs, is a visionary is an unterstatement of the centrury. He not only takes risks with his designs but he pushes other designers to dig deeper in their own minds and take leaps they never would have. His designs are not for everyone but I think as artistic peices they certainly can be admired by all. As I watched the show that is what I understood that I was watching an artistic show. The stage was set with lights, steam, felt like the city and ofcourse it would not be an ordinary runway for Elaera's inspired mind. Each peice that came out on the shiney black or gray skins really made me say wow for each peice and in the back of my mind I was thinking these are insanely great but they are going to be affordable.

The amazing ARCOBALENO agency set an amazing and unique stage and offered up gorgeous models that were perfection!! It was a joy to watch and I do not really like fashion shows most of the time haha but this was such a winner!!! Visit the agencies site they have casting calls before shows and let me tell you it would be an honor to work with Vikeejeah Xevion, CEO of Arcobaleno Agency because she ran a flawless show.

Designers participating in this convention, will be presenting items for sale at the convention as well as opportunities to capture an audience by participating in one of the events.

BOUTIQUE:
All participants will be able to set up vendors in kiosks or boutiques around the convention. The sales kiosks and boutiques will remain in place September 20 – October 20.

International Modelling Convention 2010 September 22-26

I have to say that when I saw the texture for this I wasn't quite sure what it meant. Finding out that it came from Giselle Temple, I went in search. Finding her picks I saw she had put the description of what it is. I must admit, coming from Giselle who is the epitome of a beautiful soul, I was truly touched.

In the SL Fashion world it is so easy to lose sight of kindness and compassion and get into the competitiveness and ugliness of winning and being the best. I have slipped on that slippery slope a few times myself but clinging to a tree root trying to stay on the ledge of goodness. Giselle shows us what it means to be kind, to have a heart, to actually care about others and not worry about what other people consider to be truth when it is only gossip and hate.

I have had such a privilege in knowing Giselle even though it has just been in briefness. I can't wait to see who Giselle bestows the honor of this award too.
